Sidney Lee

My journey behind the lens began in 2008 when I picked up my very first point-and-shoot camera — and I’ve been capturing moments ever since. In 2010, I officially began studying photography, learning the fundamentals of film, film processing, and later digital photography and editing throughout high school. During that time, I competed in SkillsUSA for photography, representing my school during both my junior and senior years.

After high school, I attended the College of Southern Nevada, where I pursued a degree in Commercial Photography. There, I deepened my understanding of lighting, composition, and advanced editing techniques that continue to shape my work today.

For five years, I worked as a school photographer, mastering the art of portraiture, group photography, and action-filled sports shots. Beyond that, I’ve had the privilege of photographing countless friends and families — from milestone moments to casual creative sessions — each experience strengthening my love for storytelling through images.

Photography, for me, has always been about connection — capturing real moments, genuine emotion, and timeless memories that people can hold onto for years to come.

My photo and design career officially started in 2023 when I decided to go back to school again again to pursue a degree in graphic design. I fell in love with the ability to create, modify, and enhance things digitally to where I knew it was something that I was passionate about to continue developing my skills in.

My favorite areas of design all have motion in them. It is so beautiful the way you can enhance story telling via well timed cuts that almost seem poetic. This is why when I purchased my first detachable lens camera, I prioritized a camera that would be able to excel in video work and have been honing my craft since.

Business has always been my first love dating back to high school. I competed at the international level of DECA 4 times. In the program, I did a variety of marketing campaigns and projects which is truthfully what pushed me back to design. Instead of just the idea guy – I wanted to be someone who could put plans  into action. I always love a challenge and look forward to collaborating with you!
